Indication :
- This drug is a pain reliever (analgesic) and is used to treat moderate to severe pain not caused by other painkillers such as: B. paracetamol or ibuprofen can be treated alone.
- This medicine contains codeine. Codeine belongs to a group of drugs called opioid analgesics, which have pain-relieving effects. It can be used alone or in combination with other painkillers such as: B. Paracetamol can be used.
Dosage :
- Always take this medication exactly as your doctor has told you. If you are unsure, consult your doctor or pharmacist.
- The dosage depends on the information in the table below. Children 12 years and older, adolescents and adults, 1-2 tablets as needed, up to 4 times a day.
- The maximum daily dose should not be exceeded. This depends, among other things, on the patient’s body weight and, based on the proportion of paracetamol in the drug, cannot exceed 60 mg per kg of body weight.
- Taking into account the codeine part of the drug, the maximum daily dose is 240 mg of codeine phosphate hemihydrate (which corresponds to 8 tablets).
- Your doctor will therefore determine the maximum total daily dose that is appropriate for you or your child.
- The appropriate dosing interval depends on symptoms and the maximum total daily dose. It should not be less than 6 hours.
